I have a B.S. in Exercise Science with a concentration in Cardiac Rehab and a Masters Degree in Exercise Science from University of Delaware. I worked in cardiac rehab at Kent General Hospital in Dover, DE, then transitioned into health education for a heart disease prevention program in Southern New Jersey. My role included becoming a member of an interdisciplinary diabetes education program, writing grants and developing heart disease prevention education for populations from elementary school to adulthood. Currently, I also teach at a one day a week homeschool and have coached volleyball in the Newark area for the last 13 years.
