RICHARD R. SHAW
President and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Shaw has been with Cardio-Kinetics since its inception in 1979. He is a partner, president and chief operating officer of Cardio-Kinetics, Inc.  He began his career as the director of Cardio-Kinetics Preventive Medicine Center and has led Cardio-Kinetics to become a premier preventive medicine company that has been recognized nationally by the United States Council of States Government, by the NOVA7 Awards Program and as a recipient of the Governor’s Council for Lifestyle and Fitness for the state of Delaware.  He has pioneered the establishment of preventive health screening and fitness testing for public safety officers throughout the state of Delaware, as well as developed executive health initiatives in the states of Delaware and Pennsylvania.  

He graduated with honors from the University of Delaware and currently serves as adjunct faculty for the Department of Health and Exercise Sciences at the University of Delaware.  He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and is a past president of the New Castle County American Heart Association.
